 AMST was
founded in 1971 as a small family business. The first truck in
the fleet was a straight truck. Farm commodities and livestock
were the haul of the early days. Eventually tandem axle tractors
were added to the fleet at the rate of about one tractor per year.
Since the primary goods transported were frozen or cooler, reefers
were the trailer of choice. In 1997, dry vans were added into
the fleet to service the office furniture industry.
AMST services the Central States Region in either dry, frozen,
or cooler deliveries. Truckload as well as LTL orders can be delivered
on a time sensitive basis. All equipment is company owned and
operated.
The company has just completed a move to a new terminal which
will allow for better cross docking of orders as well as a storage
space for cooler and dry freight.
AMST is dedicated to serving customers, developing long term
relationships with companies and their employees, and growing
strong into the future.
